Rebekah Nielsen - Final Project

This is a book cover for The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers.  It's not quite done, unfortunately, and needs a bit of polishing, but it's close to what I'd hoped for!

  1. The stained glass is fantastic! I think all it really needs is a few punches of highlights and shadows along the corners and edges of the stone to reinforce the point of view and direction of light.

  2. Wow, I really do love the value structures in the dark. It turned out really nice!! It's not a easy things to do and you did great job on it!! I guess it will be more fun to add light high lights on the shining glass side to emphasize the focal point of it!! Great work!! and have a great summer!

  3. Wow this is gorgeous! I love the values and the design is incredibl3! I think the top of the window may be a bit awkwardly shaped, everything else looks amazing though.

  5. I dig these colors so hardcore - excellent color scheme! I would agree with the above comment about fixing the top of the window. I think the perspective on the top part is a little skewed, but other than that, this piece is fabulous. Also, I love the feeling of light shining through the window.
