Kimberly's Memory

  1. I freaking love this. It is so vibrant, so great and so fun. You did a great job of having the two sides differ, while still making them feel that they belong side by side. One suggestion I have is that some of your color fill edges are blurry and I'd like to see them match the texture throughout the rest of the piece. Maybe use a chalk brush for that? Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

  3. I like the colors and that they feel like they're at two different times of the day. I wish there was a little more detail in the shoes on the left. And the arm holding the book in the right picture feels a little off. This has a nice feeling and mood. Good job Kim :)

  4. This is so energetic and fun! I love the contrast between the more vivid and busy left half of the picture, which really helps to set apart both images. And the figures themselves are stylized in a really appealing, wonderful way! Random detail, but I love the shoes in the left half. They just make me happy. Great shapes. :) It might be neat if the two halves had a few colors shared between them, to tie them together a little bit more. But great work!

  5. Words can't describe how much I love this. I love your color scheme and the idea - well done! I'm not a huge fan of the wallpaper in the background of the left image, which is probably a personal thing, but overall, the rest of this is working great. :)

  6. I love how you played with opposites here. Reversing the composition does a lot for the concept.
